ATLA Catholic Periodical and Literature Index® (ATLA CPLI®) provides indexing of periodicals, essay collections, church documents, papal documents, and electronic resources expressly addressing the practice and intellectual tradition of Roman Catholicism. ATLA CPLI contains indexing from 1981 to the present and is updated quarterly. Content within its scope is selected for indexing based on enduring scholarly merit. 

ATLA recently merged ATLA CPLI into the ATLA Religion Database® (ATLA RDB®).

Access and Subscription Information

ATLA is in the process of merging the ATLA CPLI into the ATLA RDB. Once a stand-alone Catholic specific product, it will be part of the full ATLA RDB

Depending on current product subscriptions, current customers will see the merged databases rolled out between November 2017 and Spring 2018.

ATLA products and partner products are made available on the EBSCOhost research interface through subscribing libraries and are not available directly through the ATLA website.
