Titles Published Fall into Three Categories
Books published as Scholarly Editions represent new and creative research on topics that impact what theological librarians do and how they do it. Consideration and publication of works as Scholarly Editions require submission of formal proposals as detailed here and are subject to the review and approval by an Editorial Board that oversees the review, selection, editing, and publication of books as Scholarly Editions. The Editorial Board aims to select and publish three to four new titles per year.
Questions about Scholarly Editions should be directed to the Editorial Board at email@example.com.
These works aim to assist theological librarians in their day-to-day work and professional development and may include white papers, handbooks, and other reference-type materials. These works are written by or at the direction of Atla’s staff with the assistance of committees, task forces, or outside experts.
Questions about Association Editions should be directed to Atla.
These previously published print books have been deemed to have value to the profession of theological librarianship and therefore important to re-release as open access online editions. Reprints are selected at the discretion of Atla and are digitized and published in their original form with permission of the copyright holder where necessary.
