The Atla Digital Library brings together digital collections of scholarly, historical, and cultural significance that are relevant to the study, teaching, and learning of religion and theology. It is designed to provide Atla members and other organizations with a standards compliant, sustainable, and inter-operable hub that will promote visibility and access of their valuable digital collections.
Institutions that host their own digital collections and can make the metadata records available either via OAI-PMH or CSV are welcome to contribute their metadata to the Digital Library.
Harvesting is a free service for Atla Institutional and Affiliate Members. Archives, non-degree granting organizations, or other organizations that are not Atla members but have collections matching the scope of the Atla Digital Library may also contribute their metadata for a nominal fee.
Atla Institutional and Affiliate Candidate members that have digitized materials with metadata records but need a place to host the collections may host their digitized materials in the Atla Digital Library provided those materials fit the Atla Digital Library Collection Policy.
Members participating in the Atla Digital Library Hosting Program will be assessed an annual participation fee and an annual storage fee based on the size of their collection. For more information on fees, please contact us.
