Ohio Theological Library Association (OTLA) Fall Meeting 2022

We will plan to meet in the “Theater” of the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). The Elliott Library and most Special Collections are on site. A tour will be offered of the library collections, archaeological, and historical exhibits following the lunch break. This will include: 1. A unique collection of ancient Egyptian, Assyrian, Babylonian, and Persian art. These are images “rubbed” from original ancient stone monuments and tombs; 2. An ancient oil lamp collection that extends from the Early Bronze Age through the Byzantine and Arabic Periods; and, 3. Historical artifacts relating to the history of the Stone-Campbell Movement.

The meeting agenda is tentatively set as follows:

• 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. : Breakfast & Informal Fellowship (Breakfast provided on-site)
• 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. : Business Meeting
• 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. : Lunch (Acapulco Mexican Restaurant next door)
• 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. : Site Tour of Elliott Library and Special Exhibits

Directions to Florence, KY

Take the Mall Road Exit (180-A) off of I-75/I-71. When you come off the exit, you will arrive at a stoplight at Mall Road. Turn left on Mall Road and go to the next stoplight, and turn right on Connector Dr. You will see the strip mall straight ahead. Look for the sign that says CCL Center. Come in the main entrance. Park in the parking lot in front of the Center. No restrictions.
